Is Saturday the most important game thus far for Butch Jones at Tennessee?
It’s ‘Oklahoma Game’ week for the Vols, who are fresh off a 59-30 win over Bowling Green in the opener. Jones, who is 1-16 as a head coach against ranked teams, spoke about his team’s first game and pending matchup with the Sooners on Monday.
“There needs to be significant improvement from Week 1 to week 2 and that’s usually what good teams do,” Jones said. “Obviously, the quality of opponent will be a challenge in and of itself.”
