Video: Charles Barkley talks about race component surrounding Cam Newton

Charles Barkley is an Auburn alum, and he had plenty to say regarding a fellow Tigers alum on The Dan Patrick Show on Wednesday.
Barkley was asked several questions regarding Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, who will be playing in the Super Bowl against the Denver Broncos on Feb. 7.
The NBA Hall of Famer and “Inside the NBA” studio analyst talked about how he feels about the rumors of Newton being paid to play for Auburn.
“I wish my financial people made good investments like that,” Barkley said.
He also voiced some frustration with what he feels is a narrative being driven by ESPN and gave his take on why Newton and the Panthers aren’t looked at in a favorable light.
