Video: Colin Cowherd breaks down SEC, CFB powers by tiers

As a talk show host, Colin Cowherd of Fox Sports is known to stir the pot. Earlier in the week, he took on the task of ranking college football’s top programs by tiers. He named six SEC programs in his top 16, but the rankings are bound to upset a few fanbases.

- Alabama
Tier 2
- Auburn
- Tennessee
Tier 3
- Florida
- Georgia
- LSU
In a discussion on BYU as Tier 4 program, Cowherd reveals that “conference titles, NFL players and relevance” were all major factors in his rankings. The full rankings of Tiers 1-3 can be seen in the video below:
