Since Devon Gales’ life was changed in a game against Georgia last season, he’s truly become a part of the Bulldogs family.

Gales, playing for Southern University, shattered a vertebrae on a special-teams play during a game in 2015, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down.

ESPN’s Tom Rinaldi produced a segment on Saturday’s College GameDay show detailing Gales’ fight to regain movement in his legs and highlighting his relationship with Bryant Gantt, Georgia’s Football Program Coordinator.

The story is a touching tribute to the former Southern player, whose dedication to his recovery is truly inspiring.
