Video: Fire crews contain blaze outside of Jordan-Hare Stadium

Auburn is colloquially known as “The Plains” by those around the SEC, but a bit of flat grassland outside of the stadium almost cost them.
WRBL, a local news station, reported that emergency crews were called to extinguish a fire outside of the Tigers’ famous stadium Monday. Luckily, authorities responded quickly, as the fire was put out before any serious damage could be done.
It’s often said that a team can do more to hurt than help itself during the offseason, via injury or otherwise. Auburn added a new wrinkle to that colloquial, as their stadium was almost set on fire.
