Video: Georgia honors Southern WR Devon Gales’ family before bout with Alabama

Georgia Athletics honored the family of Southern wide receiver Devon Gales on Saturday during a special pre-game ceremony before the Bulldogs’ showdown with Alabama.

Gales was seriously injured during last weekend’s game at Sanford Stadium during a kickoff return. Gales suffered several fractures in his spine and had surgery at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Georgia Athletics paid for his Gales’ family’s flight to Athens.
