Video: Here’s the hit that injured Kentucky RB Boom Williams against Missouri

Published:
Kentucky RB Boom Williams had a very bad play in the first quarter of Saturday’s game at Mizzou.
Williams fumbled after a long run and the ball was scooped up by Mizzou DE Charles Harris.
While trying to make a tackle, Williams was hit hard by a Tiger defender, as seen in the above video, and was slow to get up.
It appeared to be a leg injury for the talented back:
Boom Williams not putting much weight on that leg as he’s helped across the field.

However, the Kentucky Twitter account said otherwise:
Boom Williams being evaluated for shoulder injury.

Williams put the Wildcats ahead 7-0 with a 60-yard touchdown run earlier in the game. It remains to be seen if he can return to the contest.
