Video: Keanu Neal delivers big hit in Falcons practice

Gator fans are going to miss seeing this on Saturdays.

In a video posted Sunday on the Atlanta Falcons’ official Twitter account, it’s difficult to actually see Neal, but he’s tagged as the player behind a loud pop and the ensuing “oohs and aahs.”

Current UF RB Jordan Scarlett chimed in, saying it was common for Neal to lay the wood in practice.

The former Florida safety’s stock soared in the lead-up to the NFL Draft, resulting in Atlanta taking him No. 17 overall. Neal made 96 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, two sacks and one interception in his final season with the Gators.

It’s a shame that the Tennessee Titans are not on the Falcons’ schedule this year, as we are unlikely to get to see a re-creation of this infamous hit on Derrick Henry:
