A Louisville player was ejected on the very first offensive play of the Music City Bowl for a hit on a Texas A&M receiver.

Aggies sophomore receiver Damion Ratley was devastated by Cardinals linebacker James Burgess, who was disqualified for the game for targeting.

As always, the play was reviewed by officials and the call was upheld.

Burgess, a senior, entered the game with 92 tackles, 2nd on the team and 13th in the ACC this season.
