As if Auburn quarterback Jeremy Johnson’s day couldn’t get any worse Saturday afternoon in Baton Rouge, the junior signal caller took a helmet-to-helmet shot with less than six minutes to play resulting in an ejection for LSU.

Leading 45-14 in the fourth quarter, Tigers linebacker Deion Jones led with his head after Johnson had already tossed one near the boundary. Jones will be suspended for the first half of next week’s game at Syracuse.

Johnson’s thrown two touchdown passes, an interception and lost a fumble.
