Video: New Florida kicker shows off leg power, drills 62-yard field goal

New placekicker Eddy Pineiro out of Miami, who enrolled on Sunday, showed off his leg power in the team’s indoor practice facility on Wednesday to help put some of the Florida faithful’s fears to rest.
Of course, nothing will shake the nightmares of this past season, which saw the Gators finish second-to-last in the FBS (127th) in field goal percentage by making just 41.2 percent of tries (7-for-17). Not to mention the five missed extra points.
However, this video of him drilling a 62-yarder right down the middle should at least give you something to look forward to.
