For nine thousand dollars, Carolina Panthers offensive lineman Trai Turner certainly did not get his money’s worth last week against the Denver Broncos.
The former LSU lineman took the opportunity to celebrate his team scoring in the season opener by having the audacity to jump up and down near an opponent. Check out Turner’s mean-spirited jumps right here:

While that may have seemed like nothing, because it basically was nothing, the NFL fined Turner $9,115 for “unsportsmanlike conduct” following the touchdown play, according to Bill Voth of Black and Blue Review.
Turner’s fine is just the latest example of why some affectionately refer to the NFL as the No Fun League.
