Video: Perfect onside kick puts Alabama in position to take the lead

Alabama’s Adam Griffith popped a perfect onside kick with 10:34 left in the fourth quarter that was caught by Marlon Humphrey on the fly, giving the Crimson Tide the ball at midfield in a time game. The successful call brought a smile from Tide coach Nick Saban.
Two plays later, Jake Coker found O.J. Howard wide open for a 51-yard TD catch. Griffith’s extra point gave the Tide a 31-24.
The onside kick came after Alabama had tied the game on a field goal by Griffith.
