Former Alabama LB Reuben Foster has been making the rounds at ESPN today.

There’s been some negative publicity for Foster since the NFL Combine, and off-the-field concerns are in the minds of many leading into the NFL Draft. So, naturally, Foster has taken the time to appear on ESPN to explain some of the situations prior to the draft. Perhaps this will help him in the minds of NFL teams on Thursday night.

The NFL Combine wasn’t good to Foster. He didn’t compete in drills, and he was forced to leave early because of “heated argument” with a hospital worker. But that wasn’t the only concerning thing at the combine. Foster also failed a drug test for a diluted sample.

On Tuesday, Foster joined First Take and attempted to explain the diluted test.

Here’s part two of the interview:

Foster is largely projected as the first linebacker off the board Thursday night, and it will be interesting to see if he will fall out of the top 15 with the concerns.

Foster has all the tools to become a big-time NFL player.
