After an early first-quarter score, the UGA offense entered had a very rough first half failing to do much on offense – until Sony Michel turned a short pass into a 33-yard touchdown.
On 3rd-and-13, Jacob Eason tossed a short pass to Michel at about the 30-yard line, and the talented running back did the rest, dodging TCU tacklers deep in the Horned Frogs’ red zone where he made one final push into the red zone.
Michel’s touchdown helped the Bulldogs trim TCU’s lead to 16-14, the score at halftime.
