Over the years, CBS announcer Verne Lundquist has been to Knoxville many times to announce Tennessee games.
With two weeks left in the 2016 regular season, Lundquist will be back at the iconic stadium on Saturday.
On this week’s “Storytime with Uncle Verne” segment, Lundquist shares some of his favorite memories from Knoxville.
From the Vols Navy to K James Wilhoit’s game-winning kick to beat Florida in 2004, Lundquist shares some great stories in the above video.
Tennessee hosts Mizzou at Neyland Stadium on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Central time. The game can be seen on CBS.
