Mother’s Day is full of touching stories about athletes and their moms, but Tennessee may have taken the cake.
Vols’ coach Butch Jones often catches flack for his “Champions of Life” mantra and focusing on matters off of the football field, but this video shows just how special the Tennessee family really is.

For Jones, making boys into men has been a huge stated goal, and his interest in players’ studies and personal lives makes it easy to see why guys love to play for him.
With all of the coach speak and talk of masculinity around the SEC, it’s refreshing to see these student-athletes showing raw emotion and vulnerability while giving thanks to the women that helped them achieve their football dreams
