Video: Walking around with an axe might be part of Alabama’s concussion protocol
Well here’s a first.
After being evaluated for a concussion against Ole Miss, Alabama receiver ArDarius Stewart was spotted on the sidelines with an axe. Check it out for yourself here:

Giving a potential weapon to a player with a head injury has to be a first for the college football concussion protocols. Thankfully Stewart’s helmet and pads have been taken away from him, eliminating the possibility of taking the axe out onto the field.
Safe to say Stewart’s day is done in Oxford.
