For some reason, it feels like the mother knows what’s going to happen and takes pleasure in his misery. Putting a camera on a kid and telling him his hero is gone forever. Harsh.
She brings it up like this: “You want to know something?”
Well, this isn’t really about demonizing the mother (ahem) as it’s about showing the love that this kid has for Manning. According to the Denver Post’s Nicki Jhabvala, his name is Cy and he’s 4 years old.
It’s unknown how long 4-year-old Cy watched Manning play in his 18 years in the NFL, and that’s what makes his love for Manning stronger than anyone else’s in a weird way.
