College football is officially back. Some of the viewership numbers were released for the games that took place in Week 1.

There were some great matchups in the Week 1 slate. LSU-Florida State, Colorado-TCU, and North Carolina-South Carolina were just some of the games that took place.

Here’s how many people tuned in to watch certain games:

  • LSU-Florida State: 9.165 million
  • Colorado-TCU: 7.262 million
  • Ohio State-Indiana: 4.646 million
  • WVU-Penn State: 3.497 million
  • Nebraska-Minnesota: 3.492 million
  • North Carolina-South Carolina: 3.4 million
  • Oregon State-San Jose State: 3.234 million
  • Rice-Texas: 3.21 million
  • Florida-Utah: 3.189 million
  • Northwestern-Rutgers: 2.679 million
  • Virginia-Tennessee: 2.464 million

Florida-Utah was originally left off the list by mistake, but also had a lot of people watching even though the game didn’t turn out the way Gator fans had hoped.

The Tigers and Seminoles game was highly anticipated after how last season’s matchup went. The Seminoles won last year on a blocked extra point. It was close for about three quarters before Florida State pulled away.

The battle of the Carolinas drew a decent crowd. Drake Maye and Spencer Rattler faced off with North Carolina pulling away in a 31-17 win.

Colorado’s upset of No. 17 TCU was watched by a lot of people. Deion Sanders’ debut ended with a 45-42 win in Fort Worth.

What will some of the better games in Week 2 be?
