The Kohl’s Kicking service ranked Nickle as the No. 9 punter in the 2016 class. He was also recruited as a walk-on by Middle Tennessee State, Oklahoma State and Toledo. Nickle will join punters Trevor Daniel, last year’s starter, and freshman Grayson Linde. Tommy Townsend announced he would be transferring in June in search of playing time.
