Alabama continues to beef up its nonconference schedule with the latest series coming against Virginia Tech.
Crimson Tide fans will now have the ability to travel to Blacksburg to catch their team in action as Alabama has agreed to a new home-and-home series with the ACC program.
The first game in the new series will take place on Sept. 2, 2034, in Blacksburg, Va. The second game is scheduled for Sept. 1, 2035, in Tuscaloosa.
The two programs have met 13 times with Alabama holding a 12-1 all-time record over the Hokies. The two most recently met in the 2013 season opener with Alabama coming away with a 35-10 win in Atlanta for the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game.
This news comes just a day after Alabama announced a new home-and-home series with Florida State. Following these announcements, Alabama fans now have some outstanding nonconference matchups to enjoy in the coming years.
