A couple Tennessee receivers are out for a couple months with injuries.

According to 247Sports’ Wes Rucker, sophomore Jauan Jennings and redshirt freshman Vincent Perry will miss the rest of spring. The Vols have three more scheduled practices for today, Thursday and Saturday’s spring game.

Tennessee is trying to improve its passing game from a year ago that finished 9th in the SEC in passing yards per game (198.6). The Vols especially want to make bigger plays through the air after ranking 10th in the SEC in yards per attempt (7). Only Auburn, Missouri and Vanderbilt completed fewer 20-yard completions than the Vols’ 36.
