So far this Saturday, one team has shown up in Neyland Stadium and it has been the Tennessee Volunteers.

Jeremy Pruitt’s squad has jumped out to an early 7-0 lead on Mississippi State and if not for an early interception in the red zone, Tennessee would be up two scores in the contest.

Tennessee freshman quarter Brian Maurer has started the game completing three of four passes for 60 yards. His only incompletion was the red zone interception.

The first touchdown of the game came when Tim Jordan cut right threw the Mississippi State defense for a 15-yard score.
