Butch Jones: Vols will not wear Smokey Gray unis against Florida

Despite reports claiming otherwise, Tennessee coach Butch Jones said his team has not decided to unveil its alternate Smokey Gray uniforms when they host Florida on Oct. 4. In an interview with Jimmy Hyams on the Sports Animal WNML radio station in Knoxville, Jones talked about a variety of topics including the rumored Smokey Gray uniforms and when they might be debuted in 2014.
Report: Tennessee to wear new gray uniforms against Florida
Tennessee added a smokey gray alternate uniform to its palette prior to the 2013 season. The Vols wore the uniforms in home games against Georgia and Vanderbilt last season.
Tennessee began selling an updated version of the Smokey Gray jerseys with checkerboard sleeves and numbers. Fans took to twitter to voice their opinions:
