Von Miller lands with new NFL team as pass rusher makes free agency splash

Von Miller made a splash in NFL free agency when he announced on Instagram that he would sign to play for the Buffalo Bills.
Miller, who just won a Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams, made 27 tackles and 9.5 sacks with a forced fumble last season after he was traded from the Denver Broncos. The Rams sent a 2022 second-round pick and a 2022 third-round pick to the Broncos in exchange for the outside linebacker.
Miller is signing a six-year, $120 million deal to join the Bills, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday.
A three-time First Team All-Pro and eight-time Pro Bowl selection, Miller amassed 110.5 sacks, 509 total tackles and 225 QB hits in 142 career games with the Broncos. He was named Super Bowl 50 MVP in 2015 after helping Denver defeat the Carolina Panthers 24-10, becoming the fourth linebacker to earn the award.
Miller originally entered the league as the No. 2 overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft out of Texas A&M.
Miller makes clear that Buffalo is a free agency destination since Josh Allen and the franchise have become serious AFC and Super Bowl contenders in recent years.
