Von Miller will not be suiting up for the Buffalo Bills next 4 games.

Miller was suspended by the NFL on Tuesday for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.

Miller’s 4-game suspension will be served over Weeks 5-8. The Bills are set to play the Houston Texans, New York Jets, Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks. The Oct. 20 game against the Titans is the only home game during that stretch. Miller can return on Oct. 28, after the game against the Seahawks.

According to ESPN, Miller’s suspension is tied to a November 2023 incident in which he is alleged to have assaulted his pregnant girlfriend. Per WFAA, police responded to a “major disturbance,” but Miller had left the scene before officers arrived. After an arrest warrant was issued, Miller turned himself in to the Glenn Heights Police Department in Texas on Nov. 30.

On Dec. 28, 2023, Miller addressed the media, calling the allegations “100% false.” Miller was not charged in the incident, though a police affidavit states that the veteran NFL defense “put his hand on the woman’s neck, pushed her and pulled out part of her hair during an argument.” The NFL conducts its own investigations into player incidents, including those in which charges are not filed or have otherwise been legally resolved.

Miller, 35, played at Texas A&M from 2007-10. He was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos.

Miller remained with the Broncos into the 2021 season before he was traded to the Los Angeles Rams. He has been part of two Super Bowl-winning teams with the Broncos (50) and the Rams (LVI).

Ahead of the 2022 season, Miller signed a 6-year, $120 million contract with the Bills. In the 2024 season, he has logged 5 total tackles, including 3 sacks, through 4 games.
