Have no fear, Kentucky fans, Keaten and Destin Wade remain firmly committed to the Wildcats.

While the twin brothers from Tennessee never waivered in their commitments to Kentucky, some questioned whether that would be the case following Steve Clinkscale’s decision to leave Mark Stoops’ program for Michigan.

If you were unaware, Clinkscale served as a key recruiter for Kentucky in the recruitment of the Wade twins. The former defensive backs coach left to fill the same role for Jim Harbaugh.

Following Clinkscale’s departure, Valerie Wade, the mother of the Kentucky pledges, issued her thoughts on the subject, “Committed to a program not a person.”

Valerie’s comment came after Keaten issued his continued support for BBN after Clinkscale left the Kentucky program.

That’s great news for the Wildcats as each Wade brother is rated as a four-star prospect in the program’s 2022 recruiting cycle. Keaten is ranked as the nation’s No. 15 outside linebacker while Destin is the No. 23 athlete in the country for the 2022 recruiting cycle.
