Wade Taylor IV will not be on the court for Texas A&M when it faces Kentucky on Tuesday night.
The star guard will miss his 3rd-consecutive game due to injury and will continue to be a big loss for the Aggies. Taylor is the lone Aggie listed on the team’s initial injury report.

The Wildcats will be without Kerr Kriisa, who has been ruled out, while Andrew Carr is probable after being listed as questionable and playing against Mississippi State.
Taylor’s loss will be significant for A&M. The senior guard leads the team in points and assists this season with 15.7 and 4.8 respectively. Last season, in 2 games against Kentucky, Taylor had some of his best performances.
Against the Wildcats last January, Taylor went off for 31 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals. Then, against the Wildcats in the SEC Tournament, Taylor scored 32 points with 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal. The Aggies won both of those matchups thanks to Taylor’s efforts.
Without Taylor in the last 2 games, the Aggies went 1-1. Entering the Kentucky matchup, the Aggies are the No. 11 team in the country with a 13-3 overall record and a 2-1 mark in conference play. The team’s lone conference loss came to Alabama last Saturday, with the team falling 94-88 at home. The Aggies have conference wins over Texas and No. 17 Oklahoma.
After the visit to Rupp Arena, Texas A&M will return home for a matchup against LSU.
