Wan’Dale Robinson has started his NFL career with the New York Giants, attending the team’s rookie minicamp over the weekend.
After the practices, Robinson was asked about the Giants’ playbook and how it differs from the Kentucky playbook.
Per 247Sports, Robinson said he’s still working to learn it all and what the coaches want to do to maximize his versatility:
“Definitely. We go through it, me and the coaches, and they tell me some things they want to see me do and things like that. I just want to try and learn it all, the most I can. The more and more I learn, the more I will be able to do.”
Robinson added that there’s more to the Giants’ offense than there was at Kentucky, especially factoring in all the different positions the team wants him to play:
“Yeah, there’s a lot more to it. It’s alignment, assignment. You’ve got to know everything that you’ve go to do and then even learn different positions as well, too. So I’ve got to know everything.”
How will Robinson fare as a rookie this fall? We’ll see how he looks when preseason games start this summer!
