Rivalry week is finally upon us, and there is arguably no bigger rivalry than the Iron Bowl.
In honor the series’ 81st installment this weekend, AL.com posted a hype video to its YouTube page previewing the huge SEC West showdown. Though lacking the luster and playoff implications it had a few weeks ago, this game featured bad blood between both schools.
“I’ve seen Texas-Oklahoma. I know about Ohio State-Michigan,” a voice-over in the video states. “There is no game like the Iron Bowl.”
Alabama enters the contest having already locked up the SEC West and looking to wrap up an undefeated season. Auburn, meanwhile, could position itself for a Sugar Bowl berth with an upset in Tuscaloosa.
The No. 1 Crimson Tide (11-0, 7-0) and the No. 16 Tigers (8-3, 5-2) will face off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
