Friday night was a night that 18-year-old Vestavia Hills High School student Jake Pratt will never forget.

The senior, who has Down Syndrome, took part in his team’s preseason jamboree game against Briarwood Christian and provided the highlight of the night.

As you can see in the video below, Pratt takes a handoff and is off to the races, sprinting around the left side of the offensive line and receiving an escort to the end zone:

As soon as he crossed the goal line, Pratt was swarmed by teammates and opponents alike as the crowd went crazy.

Jake was ready for his moment in the spotlight, and had the perfect touchdown celebration ready to go:

Everyone who took part in Friday’s special moment will remember Jake Pratt’s touchdown run for a long time.
