WATCH: Alabama OL Jonah Williams discusses facing DL Da’Shawn Hand in practice

When you play for Alabama, you have the benefit of playing against some of the top players in the country every day during practice.
Sophomore OL Jonah Williams has benefitted from that, playing against guys like Jonathan Allen and Tim Williams last year and going up against DE Da’Shawn Hand this year.
On Tuesday, Williams explained how beneficial it is to him getting to work with Hand on a daily basis:
“He’s a freak, a freak athlete,” Williams says in the video. “He’s a really talented player, a good competitor. We definitely make each other better, I feel like, in practice. It’s good to have a guy like that you can go against so when we go against other talented guys on Saturday, it’s not a big surprise.”
Williams and Hand will both be going against talented guys on Saturday, as the Crimson Tide take on the Florida State Seminoles.
The game kicks off at 8 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on ABC.
