Alabama strength coach Scott Cochran is known for his intense sideline demeanor, but there’s no denying that he is good at what he does.
His players faced their toughest task of the season in the National Championship Game, though, trailing the Georgia Bulldogs 13-0 at halftime.
However, we all know the story by now — freshman QB Tua Tagovailoa came in and led the Tide to an incredible overtime victory, clinching Nick Saban’s fifth title in Tuscaloosa. In the video below, Cochran makes his Twitter debut with a clip of his halftime speech:

That’s quite a debut for the strength coach, and his speech clearly worked in the second half of the game.
Next year’s Alabama team will be plenty strong, too, and Cochran’s players should again be among the biggest, fastest and strongest in the nation.
