Wednesday was a big night for Auburn athletics. Bruce Pearl’s basketball team defeated Kentucky 76-66, which served to only pad the program’s lead over all other SEC schools in the current league standings, and the football team came to support their efforts against John Calipari’s dangerous Wildcats.
Not only was Gus Malzahn in the building with several of his players, the school’s football coach was treated to a special show at halftime of the game. While Malzahn may have known what was coming, the fans in the house were provided a surprise experience as several football players joined the Tiger Paws on the court during halftime.
