WATCH: Blown assignment gives BYU life, Cougars send Tennessee game into overtime
Just when it looked like Tennessee was going to get its first win of the season, a blown assignment in the secondary let BYU right back into the game in the closing seconds of the contest.
The Volunteers were up three points with just seconds remaining when BYU quarterback Zack Wilson hit his receiver on his receiver Micah Simon for a 63-yard play which put the Cougars in field goal range.
BYU hit the field goal to send the game into overtime.
What a heartbreaker for Tennessee fans.
