It’s not often you see a quarterback trying to throw a block, but sometimes on reverse plays, the quarterback gets out in front as a lead blocker.
However, no quarterback has ever taken that job as seriously as Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton.
As you can see in the video below, the former Auburn star absolutely demolished a New York Giants defensive lineman while blocking on this reverse:

Newton is a big guy, too, so you know that didn’t feel good for the Giants’ player’s body or his pride.
The Panthers won’t want Newton throwing too many blocks like that, but you know he had a smile on his face after that big hit.
