CBS Sports made a pair of announcements on Friday to get SEC football fans pumped up about the start of its season.
Country music star Jason Aldean will have a featured song played to kick off the broadcasts each week. The first game on the schedule is Saturday’s TCU-Arkansas matchup. Aldean has several hit songs, including “Dirt Road Anthem,” “Big Green Tractor,” and “Burnin’ It Down.”

The network also released a highlight video narrated as a poem by new play-by-play broadcaster Brad Nessler, who will be paired with Gary Danielson and sideline reporter Allie LaForce. Nessler also joined Twitter this week.
