This was a scary moment Friday night.
Clemson QB Kelly Bryant left the game late in the second quarter after being slammed to the turf by a Syracuse defender. It certainly wasn’t a dirty hit, but you could tell right away that Bryant wasn’t moving. It looked bad.
He eventually was able to walk off the field assisted by trainers.
Dabo Swinney said at halftime it was probably a concussion.
Coming into the game, there was some question as to whether Bryant would even play because of an injured left ankle. He was eventually cleared, but he looked gimpy in the first half.
Syracuse leads Clemson 17-14 at halftime, but no doubt, everyone is concerned about Bryant’s health. At this point it’s unlikely that he’ll return to the game.
if you’ve never seen a football player get knocked out cold, here you go. Hope Kelly Bryant is ok. pic.twitter.com/OLE2OlaHUI
