WATCH: Colorado mascot suffers painful T-shirt cannon malfunction

Colorado easily handled New Hampshire on Saturday, 45-14, but its mascot, Chip, suffered one of the more serious injuries of the day.
Standing behind the end zone, the mascot appeared to get ready to shoot a T-shirt cannon. But the cannon seemed to malfunction and backfire into the mascot’s midsection, which sent him to the ground in a heap.
It is unclear if the two videos below are related, but it appears that Chip was carted off the field following the injury.
The 3-0 Buffaloes are off this week, and return to action next week against UCLA on Sept. 28 in the Pac-12 opener.
Colorado's mascot is getting carted off the field due to some kind of injury. Really.
