WATCH: Colorado State loses game in most heartbreaking way possible

Colorado State players and fans thought they had just won Saturday’s game against Utah State with a game-winning touchdown on the final play with no time remaining.
And then, it was taken away.
Rams wide receiver Preston Williams hauled in an apparent touchdown pass that would have given his team a one-point victory. However, Williams stepped out of bounds, then came back in during the play, which led to an illegal touching call that negated the touchdown and ended the game as a 29-24 Utah State victory.
It was certainly one of the most heartbreaking ways to end a game.

This play was the end of a wild fourth quarter between the Rams and Aggies.
Colorado State took a 24-23 lead with 1:36 to go on a 17-yard touchdown pass from Collin Hill to Williams. Then, Utah State took a 29-24 lead on a 33-yard touchdown pass from Jordan Love to Aaren Vaughns with 43 seconds to go.
If the Rams’ final play had been a touchdown, it would’ve been a remarkable comeback in the final seconds. Instead, the Aggies held on for a victory.
