Dak Prescott wore No. 15 in Tim Tebow’s honor at Mississippi State, but growing up he admired another SEC legend.
Prescott was featured in Wednesday’s “Gabe’s Take” on the Dallas Cowboys’ Twitter account when he was asked which football he admired growing up.
“I’d definitely say Peyton Manning. Just the fact of he’s so smart, and being a quarterback that’s something you have to be – smart from the neck up,” Prescott said. “He’s always done a good job of that and knowing everything that happens before the play.”
Prescott also talks about being born in Louisiana (like Manning) and how his later mother motivates him. He also names his favorite fast food and preferred video game console.
