This time last year, Florida was sitting at home during bowl season. Dan Mullen wouldn’t know much about that experience.

The coach that led Mississippi State to its current school-record bowl streak (seven under Mullen; now up to eight) led Florida back to the postseason in Year 1 of his tenure in Gainesville and is poised to do so every year of his tenure as long as his teams buy into his message for as long as he’s there.

The current team clearly bought into Mullen’s message this season and won nine regular season games to show for their efforts. That accomplishment was good enough to punch their ticket to the Peach Bowl against Michigan.

In a recently released video, Mullen explains to his team what bowl practices are all about. Mullen should know, as if there’s one thing Mullen knows about the postseason, aside from obviously knowing what it takes to get there, it’s winning when he gets there. Mullen currently has a 5-2 record in bowl games as a head coach.

The Florida coach can be seen in the video below, stressing the importance of each and every bowl practices and rep leading up to the Peach Bowl. The game is set to be played Saturday, Dec. 29 at Noon ET on ESPN.
