WATCH: Davon Godchaux explains how Coach O still helps him break down his film in NFL

It’s always nice to hear stories of coach-player relationships that don’t end when the player goes off to the NFL.
On Tuesday, former LSU DL Davon Godchaux had one of those stories, explaining that he still has LSU coach Ed Orgeron help him break down his NFL game film.
As you can see in the clip from Tuesday’s episode of “The Jim Rome Show,” Godchaux discusses the relationship he still has with his college coach:
“I love Coach O, that’s my guy. I just talked to him this morning,” Godchaux said. “I talked to him about some things that happened on film against the Jets. I kind of go over my film with him. … It’s amazing just to have him and the fight and the swagger he brings to the table each and every game. I still miss him.”
Godchaux said one of his Miami coaches reminds him of Coach O, but let’s be real — there’s only one Ed Orgeron out there and he patrols the LSU sidelines each Saturday.
