Former LSU running back Derrius Guice had waited over a year to play in an NFL game. Thursday night, Guice impressed showing no signs of rust in Washington’s preseason game at Atlanta.
On his frist carry of the night, Guice landed a highlight stiff-arm. He also showed no hesitation when running between the tackles.

Guice tore his ACL in the Redskins’ first preseason game of 2018. The injury sidelined him for all of last season and kept him out of 2019 preseason action until Thursday night. Before the game, Guice hugged Washington team physician Dr. James Andrews, the go-to doctor for so many injured athletes.
