LSU coach Ed Orgeron has a loquacious personality, but that reaches a new level when the Tigers are playing as well as they are on offense.

During his regular weekly press conference on Monday, Orgeron shared how the new-look offense that has received loads of positive reviews, and put up plenty of yards and points is being received by recruits.

“Here’s me texting a skill player, are you ready,” Orgeron said, according to video from Michael Cauble. “‘Hey, this is Coach O, can you call me?’ Bling! Hello. As opposed to, ‘Hey, this is Coach O, can you call me? No answer.”

LSU is third in the country in scoring at 55 points per game, second in passing offense at 436 yards per game and No. 10 in total offense at 551 yards per game.

The Tigers play at Vanderbilt this week.
