WATCH: Emotional Matt Luke introduced as Ole Miss head coach at team meeting

On Sunday night, the Ole Miss Rebels decided to remove the interim label from Matt Luke’s title and make him the full-time head coach.
That decision was met with mixed reactions by the fan base, but the Ole Miss players were thrilled with the choice.
As you can see in the video below, posted on YouTube by the Rebels, when AD Ross Bjork introduces Luke as the new head coach after a lot of buildup, the players are thrilled, as is Luke:
The moment that Luke is actually introduced is around the 5:00 mark of the above video, after Bjork does a great job building it up.
The players’ reaction to seeing Luke walk through the door is priceless, but now Luke has to deliver as the full-time coach. He went 6-6 as an interim this year — an impressive mark considering the circumstances — but now he’ll need to build on that moving forward.
One thing is for sure, though — he has the support of the players in the locker room, which is a great start.
