WATCH: Florida’s coaching staff’s reaction to landing elite QB Emory Jones

It didn’t take long for Dan Mullen to land an elite dual-threat QB that fits his system perfectly.
On Wednesday, the Florida Gators landed a commitment and Letter of Intent from 4-star QB Emory Jones during the Early Signing Period. Jones was committed to Ohio State, but things came down to Florida and FSU.
So, in a short amount of time, Mullen was able to flip the QB from Urban Meyer and Ohio State and hold off Florida’s biggest in-state rival, FSU. That’s a great sign for the Gators’ future recruiting under Mullen.
