Derrick Henry showed up big time for the Tennessee Titans on Monday night.
The former Alabama running back had a strong showing against the Indianapolis Colts with a late touchdown run sealing the Titans victory. The touchdown went for 72 yards and helped Henry post his first career 100-yard game in the NFL.
Henry has had mixed results in his first two professional seasons after an incredible career with the Crimson Tide. He had just 187 yards rushing on the season coming into Monday’s game, but he excelled against the Colts.
Henry finished the game with 19 carries for a career-high 131 yards and a touchdown. It was by far Henry’s best game as a pro and a performance that he will look to build on moving forward.

Henry now has 318 yards on the season and is well on pace to eclipse his rookie mark of 490 yards.
Henry turned into a dominant force for Alabama during his junior year. He rushed for 2,219 yards and 28 TDs on his way to capturing the 2015 Heisman Trophy. He also helped the Crimson Tide capture the national championship that season.
Henry’s pro career is off to a bit of a slow start, but he demonstrated his immense potential once again on Monday. He still possesses the ability to turn into a dominant runner in the NFL.
