SEC West emotions run deep for former LSU star defensive back Jamal Adams. Even when he’s a rookie playing for the New York Jets against former Auburn star quarterback Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.
After Newton scored on a one-yard run in the second quarter to give the Panthers a 9-3 lead, Adams tried to break up Newton’s trademark “Superman” or “Super Cam” celebration.
Newton slapped at Adams to get away while officials stepped in to separate the players.
Perhaps Adams is a Batman guy?
No no no, Jamal Adams.
You’re supposed to hit Cam Newton BEFORE he scores on you!
